Experience

John has had 30 years experience in the play industry. He started his own company in 1980 which first specialised in outdoor play equipment and street furniture . In 1989 what became the Town Art Group diversified into inflatable and indoor play markets.

After he sold out to Lynx plc in 1992, he was subsequently involved in setting up a second group of companies which concentrated on inflatables & indoor play provision. These were sold to a financial investor in 2003.

John was Chairman of The Association Of Play Industries for 10 years, and a Director of The Federation of Sports & Play Industries. He served over an extended period on a number BSI and Euro/Cen Committees.
