Jon Dalton joined the company as Business Development Manager in 2007. Jon previously spent 4 years at Playdale Playgrounds Ltd, one of the UK's leading play manufacturers where he was awarded 'Salesman of the Year' in 2006. Prior to joining Playdale Jon qualified as a Quantity Surveyor, working for one of the largest housebuilders in the UK; McCarthy & Stone Ltd. Both of these roles enabled Jon to gain a great understanding of the various aspects of the construction and playground industries.

Jon's role at the Play Inspection Company covers the whole of the UK, developing new relationships as well as working with our existing clients. Jon's main task is to ensure that all of our clients are happy with the service that we are providing, as well as finding new ways that we may be able to improve our service to meet with our client’s needs.

In 2009 Jon qualified as an Annual Inspector of Fully Enclosed Playground Equipment and in 2010 he qualified as an Annual Inspector of Outdoor Playgrounds. He was also elected as the Members Representative Director of the RPII (Register of Play Inspectors International) in 2010, and now sits on the current board of RPII Directors along with his father, Keith, who is the Technical Director for Outdoor Playgrounds. Jon is also approved by the RPII to train & examine both Routine and Operational Inspectors.

Hobbies / Interests

Jon is a keen athlete and spends most of his spare time racing in events all over the country. In the past year he has entered numerous duathlons, 10K's and half marathons.
